2, where can I find the specifications of the name of the ports or pins or registers that are associated with the GPIO and all the other headers on the pi? I know C but I know C++ better.

However, is there a library that's already on the Pi that I don't have to install or download and what is it referred to as? I heard people say the Native library but I don't know what that means or if it's what i'm referring too. WiringPi is one that I initially downloaded and installed. I understand that there are several libraries out there for the pi using C and C++. I've worked on a number of micro-controllers out there and have always used their language that the IDE supported. I'm trying to understand a few simple blocks about programming the Raspberry Pi. My Googling brings up results where people are not able to connect to a specific WiFi network, but I'm not able to view any and so I'm not sure if those results are relevant. I'm at a loss really of what to do, as previously the WiFi has worked straight away. The command iwconfig shows no wireless extension for the eth0 and lo entries, but for wlan0 it has more details. I am having to manually type out the results so haven't included them here as not sure if it's important. The command ifconfig shows 3 sections, one each for eth0, lo, and wlan0. I downloaded v2.4.4 of NOOBs and used that to install Raspbian. I have had my Raspberry Pi for a few years now and today I went to do a fresh reinstall of Raspbian.
